TGIF!  So, my first week of following Weight Watchers has been great so far! I am following, not cheating, and attended my first meeting last night! It was great! So many great ideas and so many new people to get to know! I loved it! Now, I need to join a gym so I can get my workout on! :)  I have had a lot of support and encouragement from friends and family and that is really helping a lot!

Haley is getting so big! She is ready to explode right now! I cannot believe how close we are to Zaidon's arrival! It is coming fast!  I cannot wait to snuggle that little bugger!

Have a great weekend everyone! I am going shopping with Mom tomorrow for more work pants at my favorite store - DressBarn - I cannot wait until I can shop the other side of the store for the skinnier people! :)

New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year! I have some very positive feelings about 2013! I feel like this is MY year! So, I normally don't make resolutions, as I am never good about keeping them. I decided instead to make lifestyle changes. I am currently on Weight Watchers, and working towards a big weight loss goal! I am trying to drink more water (thank goodness for lemons and cucumbers!) and workout at least 5 days a week. I am excited to finally be doing something good for myself and I am bound and determined to not let anyone, including myself, get in my way! :)  This is the year for me to take back control of my life, and my finances! I am ready to positive changes! 

Haley had her baby shower last Saturday and it was interesting finding a spot for all the new baby items, but Zaidon will be one lucky little boy with the beautiful place she has created for him! Haley is really doing great and I am so proud of her! Madyson is seeing a nice boy named David from school. He is a football player I am told, and she seems to be having a lot of fun with him.  She is working 5 nights a week and earning her own money, keeping her grades up and doing great! I am so proud of her too! Spencer is doing well in school, loving TaeKwonDo, and is has taken an interest in basketball. I am very proud of him too!

So, there is the update on us. Would love to hear from anyone about their hopes for 2013!

Five things that I could not live without!

Now, the obvious answers of my husband and children are not what I am going for here. Those are the abvious things I need everyday!  I am talking about actual things that I need everyday to survive being me! :)

1.  Facebook - yes I am a Facebook junkie!  It is the first thing I check when I wake up each morning!! I know - sad - but I am honest! 

2.  My iPhone. I live on my phone! It is my lifeline!!!

3.  My Keurig! I have to have that coffee - first thing!!

4.  XM Radio.  I hate commercials and love my music!!

5.  Diet Pepsi.  I should drink water. I don't.  I drink Diet Pepsi!





Interview with myself

I recently subscribed to a blog called MoscatoMom.  Now, it caught my attention, because I am a lover of Moscato! :)  She is great! Lots of great info, totally entertaining, and real!  She did an interview with herself and encouraged others to share!  Eh....why not! :)

■What advice would you give your 16 year old self?

I would tell myself to start an exercise regime and eat healthy and drink lots of water!! I would let myself know that your body will change, and not for the better, if you don't get a handle on it, and stay on it. I would tell her so she would take care of it and I wouldn't be dealing with weight issues now!

■If you had a plane ticket in your hand right now to go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would go to Australia! That is one place I want to see before I die!

■What did you want to be when you grew up and did you follow your dreams?

No - I wanted to be a Child Psychologist. But, I love my job, the people I work with and the ability to have the flexibility to be a mom too!

■How many pets do you own?

We have two dogs - Lucy is a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix and Mary Jane is a Chihuhua. (Yes, my teenage daughter had the Chihuahua before I did, and she named her.....poor dog!)



■What was your first car?

An 1986 S-10 Chevy Blazer that was horrible on gas, but fit a lot of people! Lots of fun!!!



TWO YEARS!!!

I cannot even believe that it has been 2 years since I have updated our Blog! There has been so much happening, and it would be nice to have it all documented in one spot! :)  Let me catch you all up!

We moved to Northern California last fall due to an amazing job offer I received with Lifestyle Lift in San Ramon, CA.  Needless to say, I do not love it here at all - except the weather and therefore we are actually in process of moving back to Arizona in 3 weeks! :)  Dave is not happy, as he loves it here, but he can see how unhappy we are, especially Spencer, and so we move!

To top it off, Haley has let us know that we will be grandparents in February! She is expecting a little one then! :)  The is already 13 weeks along! We are very excited! She and her boyfriend Brandon have been together about 2 years.

Madyson is a Jr this year and living in Queen Creek, AZ. She had moved with us here to Cali, but she hated it too, and so she moved back in February of this year.  Although she would like to move back to Fountain Hills with us, we think it better for her to not switch schools again.  She is dating a great guy named Mike and we love him! :)

Spencer turned 11 yesterday! 6th grader this year! WOW! Time flies! :(  Not ready for my last baby to be so old, but I guess there is not much I can do about it!  Spencer is a whiz on the computer! He loves to play Minecraft and sing! He got his mothers singing ability! :)

Dave is currently looking for a job in AZ~ He is doing well, healthy, and as always a great dad and husband.

I am happy to be going home! Arizona......here we come!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I am going to make it one of my resolutions to stay on top of this blog! Wish me luck! Christmas was spent with Dave's family in California! We had a great time and hated to leave, but yet we missed all of your family we left behind too! Laura and Megan are getting big belly's and I am ready for a new neice and nephew this spring!

Please keep my friend Kim's son, Jason, in your prayers! He has leukemia and he is just a young one! So sad, but he is a fighter like his mom!

Here is to a great 2010 - full of love and new beginnings!

Autumn has Fallen!

Fianlly! Cooler temps, and ability to open windows! I have to say I love this Arizona weather right now! :) Lots to update! My sister Laura and her hubbie Matt are expecting a little girl in March and my brother Mike and his wife Megan are expecting in April although we do not know what it is yet! ( I think girl!) Laura is on bed rest right now until further notice, but baby is great! I just love all these babies! I love being an aunt! Spencer still hopes for some boy cousins though! ;) Haley gets her license this Friday! She is a great driver though I still worry about her being able to operate a machine that can cause so much harm to herself and others if not careful! I am sure she will be fine! :)
