3 weeks is a long time!!

Ok, so Spencer has been gone just over a week in Minnesota with my parents! I miss him so much! I am home alone today- Dave has to work - and I keep waiting for him to come in any minute and ask me to make him Toad in a hole!! (Eggs in the middle of bread) but alas, it is just me and JoJo! She is depressed too! Looking in all the rooms for the kids!! :( Oh well, it will be just two more weeks and then he will be back! Guess I will just have to settle for phone calls and emails!!

Can I just say that some of my favorite moments are those spent with my new niece Kate! Her faces and laughter and even her little tantrums are the cutest ever!!! I get to go babysit her tonight after I called and told Mike and Megan to go to a dinner and movie so I could watch her!! I will get some more cute pics, read stories and play! She is so special to me! I have been waiting forever to be an aunt - and I am loving every minute of it!

Busy Busy Busy!

Why does it seem like there is never enough time to do everything I want to do! Almost the end of the school year, and due to work overload I have had to drop my classes and retake them in the fall. The kids are getting ready to be done with school, Haley is turning 16 and driving, Dave and I are crazy busy with work while trying to fit in church, Spencer's Little League games, and every other little thing that comes up during the week! :) We love our kids and the challenges and we are so thankful to be busy and happy! That is all the truly matters in the end!

I hope to get some great pics up here in the next day or two!

Ok, so I am horrible at this! I have been slacking to say the least! Let me see how I can get you caught up! Madyson is going to be starting a Teen Yoga class in Scottsdale in April, which she is very excited for! She is also going to be starting voice lessons next week in Mesa. Spencer is active in Cub Scouts and we have a banquet this weekend for that! He is also now in Little League and Uncle Matt (Laura's husband) is one of his coaches, which he loves!!! :)
Dave is busy with Spring Training starting for the Giants, and I am still nuts with two classes, two labs, and a full time job! :)

Almost 2009.....

Well family and friends, I have given each of you the address for this Blog, so we shall see if we have anybody interested after all!

Dave and I made plans for New Years tonight! A night out with our friends Chance and Kay. Some good food, block party in Tempe, and lots of beverages to keep us warm. (Did I mention Chance is the designated driver?!) Madyson gets to babysit - but Chance and Kay's daughter Dalis will be here with her little brother James to play with Spencer, so it shouldn't be too bad and Madyson will make bank in the meantime! :)

Oh yeah....I almost forgot! Dave took Spencer to see the Polar Express 3-D at the Imax last weekend! It looked like the snow was falling right in front of them and on the scene with the steep hills, it felt like a roller coaster according to Spencer! He loved the movie before but now......WOW!!!!

OK! Here we go! We are on the final countdown to Christmas! I got all my shopping done except for two things! Makes me feel better to have it done! Now the projects that I have started though......still have to get them done and in the mail for my mother in law! I love making things for her, but I always wait to long to start and then I get behind! Kids are officially on break now and Spencer is so excited to have time to play XBox 360 and watch SpongeBob all day!
